BAND BOOSTER BINGO (April 27, 2013)

The Perry Hall High School Band Boosters (Parent Support Organization) are organizing our biggest fundraiser of the year: VERA BRADLEY BAG and LONGABERGER BASKET BINGO!  The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Gunpowder VFW in Middle River.  The doors open at 6pm and games begin at 7pm.


Tickets for this event are now available for sale at $15.00 each. Please contact Jeannie Stewart (410-529-4445) to purchase tickets.


The proceeds from this event will go into the Band Boosters account, which supports all bands at Perry Hall High School. Additionally, the Band Boosters provide financial support for student opportunities including: the bus for the jazz band trip to the Towson University Jazz Festival; instrument repair and replacement; the biannual Spring Break trip (Orlando); tuners and metronomes for class and extracurricular ensembles; a speaker and keyboard for Front Ensemble and Jazz Band; the end-of-year bowling party for all band members; a Welcome Night for new parents; refreshments and entrance fees for marching band competitions; refreshments for the Family & Friends Preview of the Marching Band Field Show evening; guest clinician Clinton Marshall to work with our assessment bands; and more.


In an effort to ensure the greatest profit for the event, we would like to have the prizes sponsored by individuals, friends, families or organizations (NOTE: when you click this link, it will take you to the preview page.  Click the image again to show you the ENTIRE list of sponsored bags). Please consider sponsoring a basket or purse or a portion of one prize. Several families may combine resources to sponsor and/or fill a basket or purse. The baskets and purses range in price from approximately $30.00 to $100.00 and up, so there are opportunities to work within your budget. You may choose to sponsor a specific basket or purse or we will match your donation to an item. Please contact us for details.


We also need door prizes and basket/purse filler items for the event. Gift certificates for restaurants, stores, services, or products are especially useful. Sports related items are always popular. We can also use items or certificates from home-based businesses such as Mary Kay, Avon, Pampered Chef or Tastefully Simple. Band members will be asked to provide items to fill themed baskets and purses. Band students should bring items to Mr. Engel or Mr. Welker in the band office.


Please consider asking your employer or a favorite neighborhood business to support our students and our organization. All sponsors and those who donate filler items will be recognized in the event program. Letters to request donation items from businesses are available from the parents noted below.
